Yet another "Update"

I know it's been a couple weeks since I last posted, but things have been crazy lately... not to mention we still don't have internet at our new place yet (coming this Friday, yea!!).

We made it through the crazy and unusual "Winter Blast" (what a cheesy name...) of Portland. It put some kinks in the chain as far as trying to get Brent all checked out of school and graduated, but it happened. He's officially done with school and passed ALL of his board exams. Hooray, I have a working husband again. The only minus is he'll be my new boss... eek. We made it out of the snow and up to Seattle to spend Christmas with the family. Sorry to those of you that we missed this year. We were really stretched on time. We literally had 3 days (including the holiday) to visit with family, get all of our stuff in storage and then had to start our drive to Florida on the 26th. I'll include photos of graduation and our drive to Florida later (Kara- sorry I haven't sent these photos to you yet... I'll get them to you this weekend).
Speaking of driving to Florida... it was awesome! Who ever would of thought a 60 hour drive across the country would be such a good time. I took about a hundred photos and we saw some amazing sunrises and sunsets. This country is absolutely gorgeous!! Except Louisiana... I don't know why we ever bought that chunk of crap from the French. Although they do have an 18 mile bridge that was pretty interesting to drove over. My favorite part was probably driving through Mobile, Alabama. It's such a beautiful city. I'm half tempted to say forget Austin- let's go to Mobile!! Their hurricane's put a quick end to that though.
We finally made it to Florida after 4 1/2 days of driving. It was nice to get there a few days ahead of schedule so we could get settled into our place and familiar with the area. We were excited to find coconut trees in our front yard and an orange tree in back. It's been in the 80's for the most part and we've been able to get to the beach at least once a week in the midst of our training. We've met some awesome people and made some great friends as well. We are so lucky to be here!! Especially with such a great group! Things started off a little rough (I'll give you more details on that later), but things are going great now and we are ready to rock Naples Florida over the next 4 months! I can't believe we are here and things are happening. Life is awesome!!

We love and miss you all! Take care!
