Beautiful Naples

Brent and I are so lucky to be able to live in a such a beautiful place, although only temporarily. This morning we woke up at our usual 4:45 and went to the gym. Once we got home, we decided that we would get ready as fast as possible and go to the beach before we went to the office. After our experience at the beach the week prior, we discovered it's a great place to reflect, think, and get focused. As I was walking along the shore I started to snap a few photos because I never want to forget how beautiful it is, or any of the experiences I've had while here. I decided to share a few of them in hopes they would inspire some of you the same way they have me. Trust me, the camera does not do it justice... enjoy!!

I wish I could start each and every day on this beach. Lucky for us it's only 5 minutes from home for the time being. I guess that means I have to take advantage of it while we're here and get out there more often. People think of the beach and instantly think of being in the sun, enjoying the water and playing in the sand, but it's also a great place to just be alone and reflect. I've discovered how important it is to have a place like this, where you can just clear your mind, reflect, learn, and not be bothered by everything going on in this fast paced world. I'm so grateful... These past 2 months have been absolutely amazing. I've learned so much about myself... who I really am. I won't get too personal with it, but I wish everyone could be experiencing Naples the way we are.

Love you all.

Some of my best, most answered prayers have been after runs along the boardwalk on Redondo. I have a great love for the ocean and I completely understand the feelings you talk about. We are so blessed to live on this land that Heavenly Father created for us. {CHEESY I KNOW} I feel like I should sing a primary song now or something. :)
I miss you, Katie!

I love the beach too. I think that is one of the things about Utah that is so hard for me...the water isn't near you. I always feel that when I am am near the ocean I am nearer to God...the majesty of it all is overwhelming.
